Boots look fantastic + suggestion on how to fix reported fitting problem
I have a Maitreya Lara body and the fit seemed strange at first - as others have reported.
The legs poked through a bit at the tops.
Here's my own workaround for Maitreya Lara (version 4.1):

1. Press CTRL+ALT+D to open an ADVANCED menu options (according to the instruction notecard that came with the boots).
2. On the blue menu that shows, I clicked RESIZE (lower left corner). Then I increased the size by just +1.
3. Fit still did not look quite right and I did not want to make them any larger.
So I went to "Edit Appearance" in SL and took the "Leg Muscles" setting down to 30-31.
This fixed my problems.

NOTE: It might not work for you, but it worked for me. I only tested it with version 4.1.

Good RL riding boots can be hard to break in as well.
But once you're through the initial struggle and pain they can, in time, become absolutely perfect!

Not Unisex!
I'm a small man and they do not fit. By the time I get the boots 3/4 the size they need to be they are over my knees. I'm very disappointed. This is generally why I do NOT buy things without a DEMO but paddock boots on SL are really hard to find and I thought I may just get lucky, so caveat emptor.
horror to fit
an individual axis resizer could have prevented these ending up in the trash...
Disappointed
They look great but are impossible to accurately adjust to my Maitreya body. Resizing makes me look like I'm standing in buckets.
Great Boot
I was apprehensive to buy as there was no DEMO. Having a mesh body (Maitreya), and having read the issues some had made me think twice. I bought the brown ones first and came back and bought the black. These are done well. Textures are outstanding. The fit is almost perfect. No issues sitting my horse either. While I would love to have a DEMO and more options in the resizer I still gave this boot 5 stars.
