In some regions staying inside the boundaries of prims can cause malfunctions in default "sit" and some unsupported AO's.
But ofcourse scripted sit will allways work.
Rumors that mega prims are causing lag can be denied as long as they are keept "phantom".
Collisions occurs only from trying to sit or walk on " non phantom" mega prims, despite their sizes !
When it comes to our Sim and Island Surroundings, they are all phantom and rezzed outside sim borders, so they will not cause any lag by themself as prims !

I bought this and was super disappointed. First of all, its entitled a sim surround but in the description (that she has updated since i told her I was going to leave appropriate feedback) it states that it only covers one side. This item also DID NOT specify that it was for a full sim and not a plot. I asked her for a refund since I had to trash the item (could not be rezzed on my place, kept going "off sim" no matter where i put it)...she promised me a smaller one that would work. I agreed...a whole month and a bajillion IMs later, I still don't have the item I was promised. She refused to give refunds even though her item was completely misrepresented. To make matters worse, I was insulted by her saying "give me you edit permissions and I will fix the sim surround for you". I'm pretty sure I am completely capable of knowing how to rezz my own items. It CANNOT AND WILL NOT fit. Do not trust this seller. There are plenty of other sim surrounds out there. PS...this was not available as a demo at the time...it is NOW. Imagine that. Pfft.
If I could have given 0 stars, I would have. It would have been a more honest rating.
