Simple door that slides open/close on touch. Optional autoclose and open/close sounds. Works while liked to other prims (link while door is in closed position). Edit the variables at the top of the script to adjust the settings. Can move in any direction by using a combination of North-South, East-West, and Up-Down.

Didn't quite like this one
Well, you can't complain too much about what you'll get for free. But I've got to mention that when I got this door and rezzed it, it had more of a popping out mechanism. It just jutted forward as it was facing veritcally. There wasn't much sliding going on.
Again, it's free and it's a matter of take it or leave it.
simple is an understatement...
you really only need to mod four lines in the code. all of them are in the top. if you are completely new this is for you as i have been playing with doors and this is the very first that does exactly what a sliding door needs to. any direction is exactly what it can do and even when it is linked it will function correctly as long as you link it in the CLOSED POSITION. I played with it in the open position and there are reasons you can do it but it is easier to play with than any other code that is labeled simple. FULL PERM. FREE. ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE. Prove me wrong..
