Features:

These skates are usable at any location in Second Life that has scripts enabled, allowing you to skate on, do tricks on, grind on, and wallride on virtually any object in game (with some exceptions). Tutorial notecards are also included on how to make your own functional TrekRails/TrekWalls.

while these look great and feel like proper air treks, the no modify and no copy does put a damper on that, we cant mess them them to use better ao's or to improve on other things like a previous review talked about. i will give it 3 stars out of 5 until a new version is released to fix this

Ok only issue is the no mod and no copy. So once ya resize them and remove those scripts, better hope you don't need to resize after due to body changes or just general character changes. The skates used to be cheaper, then guess they got more bought up so they raised the price. Smart business.

But I was able to kind of override most of the AOs it has with firestorm AO. I still would like mod, so I can safely remove the animations and play my own. Lets me add a character to do, that others don't. Pretty fun to skate around, sadly no place specialized in riding these around. (Someone should get on that and IM me.)

The no copy part comes back around a bit of the first issue of no mod. But if I wanted to even see if I could change out the standard animations. It will be hard to fix the issue since I can't just copy the skate and delete the broken copy.

Once those two issues are gone, this is for SURE a five star product. Till then 4 starts. Just that one bit short from a perfect 5 my boy. Come on and correct that. Please and thank you.

Have not yet had time to fully test out the tricks elements but really cool. I really hope this gets modified a lot more. I think second life would be awesome with these. Keep up the good work.

Good JSRF tribute but needs Some Work™

Ultimately this is one of the coolest trick systems I've seen yet, and the first blade one. The animations for grinds, flips and especially the run-skate are all really amazing. The sound effects and the visuals for the tricks coming off the skates are super fantastic. However I have a few critiques.

The Idle:
Could be a little more interesting. As a JSRF tribute - which is so full of personality - the basic stand in this... isn't. It may as well be static. Ineffectually moving your feet back and forth is very uhhhh... lacking.

The Turns:
If you're someone who likes precision movement by clicking on your avatar and using both the WASD keys and the mouse to move for tighter turns and the ability to skate circles down narrow alleys, this might pose a problem, especially in crowded areas. Tapping the A or D key while moving then reverting to forward motion with W causes your avatar to begin to default run until you double-tap again - yes, even while auto-run is enabled. I've never encountered another AO with this issue and it's so far the only major thing impeding my love of these skates.

The Fall:
The contents of the skates lists an entire script meant for Stand and Fall control - as well as animations being present for it, however the falling animation only triggers briefly before you default to the normal SL fall animation. This and the above mentioned issue both make for jarring at best blading sessions.

There's so much potential with these and if these issues were fixed, they'd be fantastic and perfect for everyday use hoodlum-ing around the city.
