Sit on the SkyLift and then click it. Then pick a height from the menu to teleport to. The SkyLift will instantly reposition itself there and you will be standing on it.
You can also rez a 32x32 or a 64x64 platform with it.
This SkyLift works in regions where there is a fixed landing point or teleporting is not allowed.
