Were you ever on IMVU? Anyone who spent any time on VU might remember "triggering" or "spinning" music. You would gather with your friends and each of you would take time typing in those triggers that make part of songs play until you got to the end and everyone would cheer.
Well I couldn't find anything quite like that here on Second Life, so I created it myself. For those of you to whom this is old hat, these will be familiar to you, except I have enhanced it here. When you put on the invisible prim, the artist and title will appear above your head. No more guessing what an artist or song is that your friend is playing if it is something you have never heard before.
For those of you who have never tried this before, it is quite simple but also challenging at the same time. You add the item to you and then you have to type in each trigger, for example by the song title you see fire 1-14, you type into Nearby Chat fire1, fire2, fire3, until you get to the end of the song, timing each new 'trigger' to start as soon as the other one ends. Practice helps a lot to get this down but when you do it can be fun.
**All of these have been tested to work in Firestorm Viewer. Firestorm Viewer has a setting you must have turned on for it to work. Go into Preferences - Sounds & Media - Media and select Play Media Attached To Other Avatars.**
