Thank you for purchasing this tool, I hope that you will find it easy to use
and that it will fulfill you needs. Regardless of what you think about it,

The system you have bought consists of two parts, the editor that records coordinates using visible pivot balls, and the "follower" that can move between these coordinates.
Once the path has been created to your satisfaction it can be stored into a
notecard and used in the follower, without the editor.

--== Command Overview ==--

The following list contains all the commands that can be used on the editor. By default channel 2 is used, so all commands shall be issued like "/2 help" or "/2 new 5 3".

help - Lists all the commands.
info - Gives this notecard with detailed instructions.
reset - Cleans everything up and resets the script.
new - Creates a new path.
insert - Inserts a pivot before the selected one.
delete - Deletes the selected pivot from the path.
clean |all] - Removes the path pivots or follower(s),
the path is kept in memory.
hide - Makes the path or follower(s) invisible.
show - Makes the path visible, or rezzes it if it
has been cleaned.
publish - Prints the path as text.
rez <item> - Rezzes a new path follower with the specified inventory name.
start - Tells one or all followers to start moving.
stop - Tells one or all followers to stop moving.
set_param <param> <value> - Changes the value of a parameter.
debug <on|off> - Turns debugging on or off.

And here are the list of commands that the Follower listens to, when it is rezzed by itself (not from within the editor), it is also using channel 2 by default.

help - Lists all the commands.
clean - Removes the follower(s).
hide - Makes the follower(s) invisible.
show - Makes the follower(s) visible.
start - Tells one or all followers to start moving.
stop - Tells one or all followers to stop moving.
set_param <param> <value> - Changes the value of a parameter.

--== Creating and Editing a Path ==--

The path is relative to the editor. So moving the editor will move the path by the corresponding amount. This applies to rotations as well.

*Note* The pivots is automatically cleaned after an hour of inactivity, just use "show" to make them re-appear.

Create a new path using the new-command. For instance "new 8 5" creates a circle of 8 pivots with a radious of 5 meter at the default height of 3 meter.
Move the pivots using the standard edit function, to place the pivots along the path you wish to create.

*Note* The maximum number of pivots is 26.

-- insert --

If you wish to add a pivot at some point in the path, select the pivot directly after that point using "touch", the selected pivot will change color to red, and issue the command "insert". This will insert a new pivot in between the previous pivot and the selected one.

There is an easier way to do this as well> Just wear the Patheditor Hud Pivot Point and move your avatar to where you would like a new pivot point to be. And touch the hud. It will place a pivot point where the center of your body was.

Each pivot in the path has an ID number which can be seen floating above it. When a new path is created the pivots are numbered sequencially starting with 1. When a new pivot is inserted it will be given a new unique ID number, all other pivots will keep their previous IDs.
The ID numbers can be used instead of selecting pivots both for inserting and deleting them.

Select the pivot to remove and issue the command "delete" or use the ID number with the command "delete <id>". The pivot will be permanently removed from the path.

-- clean --

The "clean" command can be used to remove the pivot objects, without actually removing the path.
This command must be used before "taking" or deleting the editor from the ground to avoid having to manually remove them.

*Note* Be careful with the "clean all" command, it removes the editor too, and the path with it.

The show command can do two things, either it can show a path that has been hidden, or it can be used to rez a path that has been cleaned.
