A door script which uses a notecard based access list. It will not open for anyone whose name is not on the notecard. (The scripts *ARE* case-sensitive)
Door closes after 45 seconds. Also, just like a real door, anyone can close it once it is open.
When buying this item, you will receive a folder containing the following:
An access list notecard
An Instructions notecard
A settings notecard
The script itself
You will *NOT* receive a working door or door textures. Some basic building/editing is necessary to use this item, but I'm willing to help anyone who needs it. More details for use are in the Instructions notecard. As with all my items, feel free to IM me in-world with questions or problems.
Supports user UUID's as well as names, and updated the instructions/help notecard.
Version 1.2 corrects a UUID recognition error, and consolidates the 6 scripts into one. Use the settings notecard to change the way the door works.
Version 1.2.1 corrects a bug in which the door was remaining locked even when the notecard had the correct name/UUID. Contact me if you need the update.
Check out the Builders Edition if you need a transferable version.

This actually works and Foxy Brad is awesome!
First, let me say. This script works exactly as it says and it's pretty easy and there are great instructions. What I did wrong was I didn't read the description totally, to see that it's auto-close and you can't mod it. But........I contacted the creator and he was able to write me exactly what I needed.....so I would say YES go for it.
Works nicely with a bit of work
Unfortunately it seems no longer possible to use names, this only works with avi UUIDs, but it does not take much work to find them (at least as of today).
Reading the provided notes helps, you may nonetheless have to play a little with the settings to fully understand what the parameters do. But then it works great.
Not for newbies in building who expect things to work with a few clicks.
BUT for someone willing to invest some time for 20L$ this is a great tool.
goodish
These door locks work, considering that you follow the instructions. The instructions make sense to the developer but probably not to someone who isn't following instructions well. I would recommend looking at the FAQ. I did double doors and ran into an issue where one door would randomly open by itself. It should be added in there that to trouble shoot this, remove the door script from that door. While in the closed position, readd it to the root object. It's interesting how this setup is. Originally it is a midway opening door, which I don't know anyone who would want one. But you can link it to the root and it will open like a regular door and its smooth. I dont see gaps or anything when it comes to the axis swing. This was a good investment. Just a little frustrating to get going, the first time around. But now that I know what I'm doing with the locks, its less annoying.
Totally useless
Door swings in a 1/4 circle instead of front to back.
Perfectly Helpful!
I've been trying to find just the right script for my doors. There are a LOT of doors on my house on a public sim. House controllers didn't work due to out of range and inconvenience. With multi avis using the house, I found it frustrating that all the doors would either be locked or unlocked. I wanted an 'access list' controllable door without spending tons of lindens. When I contacted the creator about a custom feature I was looking for, he responded within 24 hours and I had my 'perfect' doors in no time! Thanks for all the help :)
Easy Instructions
I am not a scripter but I found the instructions very easy to follow. I removed the original script from the vanilla door to my basement and dropped in the scripts just as instructed. It worked very smoothly. I did make a copy of the door first to test it before modifying it.
