If you are interested in the prospects of using our solar energy, then Aso’s Solar Homes are for you. Each of our residential properties comes with its own individual array of solar energy solutions that actually report on the current level of power production, data that you can make use of in your own scripting experiments.

The Solana is a single floor open plan solar home, designed as a functional low prim, low footprint low price quality residence. But more than this, the Solana has a functional wind turbine, solar panel and wood burning stove that report on power output through the day and night. The report display also includes details of sun angle, cloud cover, wind speed and carbon saving. Using these features you will be able to experience and research into the implications for using solar as a principle energy source.

Wind turbines: the twin 3.5 metre diameter turbines will rotate according to wind speed and turn to face wind direction, produces electricity in Watts.

Solar Cells: produces electricity in Watts, taking Sun angle and cloud cover into consideration.

Wood Burning stove: produces equivalent electrical power of 4.7Kw and will burn for 2 hours once lit using Touch dialog control.

Our Solana Solar Home also includes the features of scripted window tints and opening main door and a wall mounted remote roof airflow controller.

As part of the purchase of our Solar Home, you will also receive a Notecard that contains useful facts, figures and calculations for solar energy.
