The solar panel moves toward the SIM sundirection. Just place it where you think it looks good. In second life the effect of the solar panels are just limited to the visuals. This solar panel does not gain any energy, the opposit is true, it consumes energy by the calculation of the mathematical model.

it mods in two parts - the pole and the panel itself. Both are easy. Nice set up.

For the cost, this is a lovely item. It turns, looks nice and is affordable.
