Really sad to leave this review but I just saw the creator hasn't been on since 2014 so I doubt they'll reply to the notecard I sent them last week.
This item comes with no permissions. Everything else I looked at in the store was moddable so I didn't even look at the perms for this item before I bought it. I think this is the only no-mod hair piece in the entire store. The only one I saw at least.
It gets worse. Inspecting the item in-world I realized it uses over 40MB of texture memory. You want to know where all of the lag and crap performance in SL comes from? Stuff like this. Since the creator has a profile pick warning people against high-poly items I'm sure they just didn't realize that high texture use is just as bad, but it will lag you just as much, if not more, than a lot of the high poly stuff out there.
I'm good enough with textures I could make my own and still rock the hair, but since it's no-mod, that's not an option. I just wasted my money. This also scares me away from other stuff in the shop since 40MB on textures is a lot even for SL. If the other items in the shop are just as bad with texture use it will take a lot of custom texture modding to make it useable.
If you wear anything from this shop and experience a lot of lag or textures refusing to stay loaded, that's why.
