These ears look great on my Siren avi. You may have to work with them for a little bit, but they look awesome.
The Devil's in the Details, and This Little Detail is Devilishly Good!
I started putting a mermaid avatar together in 2017, and all this time, I've been throwing on a pair of long elf ears I had in my inventory and calling it good. They had some metallic tattoo options that matched well enough with my tail colors, so I decided they looked fine.
Then I revisited this avatar in 2020, and got the itch to fine tune it a little more. One of the first things I did was demo these, and, honestly, now I wonder what the hell I was doing. These look so much better!
I chose the lightest skin option, and it only took a couple of clicks in the tinting HUD to strike a seamless match with my Pink Fuel skin tone on my Catwa head. Then I moved them in a bit separately in edit mode and voila! Perfect fit, too! No need even to re-size! The whole thing came together in a matter of two or three minutes at most, and honestly, the look is much more cohesive now. I wish all enhancements were this easy to match and fit, and packed such a visual punch.
The options for markings on the HUD is quite extensive, and while I definitely have a favorite, I can see myself changing it up a lot for fun. I LOVE that I have total control over the markings colors, and really wish more creators offered this level of customizability.
Excellent ears, reasonably low ARC for the detail, and great HUD, too; collapses down to almost nothing, so you can easily get it out of the way to check your shading. Lerochelle seems to have thought of everything!
If I had one item on my fantasy wish list, it's an option for multiple tattoo markings, with the ability to do different tints, so I could do an ombre/gradient/holo effect, but, really, they're already perfect as-is, and I love them.
