(When making your own spider web/cobweb, using "Full Bright" under the texture window of the prim will highlight the spiderweb...

If you are familiar with editing, you can, under "Edit" and "Features", adjust the flexibility as you like, rotate the textures while keeping the flexible path point up, and have them hunging down a wooden beam, giving to the spiderweb a sense of slight movement, as if a smooth breeze gently moves through them, :)
