Sprite eggs are carefully gathered from the underside of flower petals, and with proper care and feeding, can be hatched to produce your very own sprite!

Each sprite egg needs four doses of nectar to hatch (sold separetly, see related items below!).

Sprite eggs come boxed with instructions, so you can send them as a gift to a friend.

INSTRUCTIONS:
First, you'll want to place your egg somewhere warm and safe. It is a well-documented fact that goblins consider sprite eggs to be a rare delicacy, so be careful to secure the area against goblins.

You will want to be sure that you have permission to rez at least 11 more prims, once your egg is placed. If it comes time for your egg to hatch and you do not have enough prims, the egg will break but the sprite will not appear!

You will see a subtle swirling pattern on the shell of your egg. It will be swirling very gently, and your egg will begin to grow.

Eventually (within 6-12 hours), the pattern on your egg will begin to swirl much faster! This tells you that your egg is ready to be fed. Your egg will need a bottle of nectar (sold separately) before it can grow any more. To feed your egg, simply rez a bottle of nectar nearby and touch the bottle. You won't be able to feed your egg until it is hungry.

IMPORTANT: If there is more than one hungry egg nearby, the nectar may go to any one of them. Be sure that you only have one hungry egg nearby when you touch the nectar bottle.

Each time you feed the egg, it will take on some of the color of the nectar. Feed it green nectar and it will become greener. Feed it pink nectar and it will be a little more pink. After four feedings, your sprite will hatch with whatever color you've created!

If you feed your egg as soon as it is hungry each time, it will take between 24 and 48 hours to hatch.

To hatch your egg faster, give your egg a dose of Speedy Sprite! One bottle will make your egg's incubation go from days to just minutes.
