I Love It!
I cannot tell you how much money I have spent on so many full perm campfires, the old way, sculpt and mesh. I have been so frustrated in this, ever since I came to Second Life in 2005. I have not been able to find that just right campfire with full perms and I have only found one campfire, that is not with full perms, to my liking. I do not sell anything. I like full perms, so that I can do whatever I need to do and I like owning my stuff in entirety. I have always been this way.
The campfires in my inventory are abundant. Prices range from low to very high, all in search for that just right campfire. I have kept them all over the years, just because I never could find that just right campfire. I am going to go trash all of those inventory hogging campfires. It is a lot of money going in the trash. This is that just right campfire for me!
Thank you for creating a square campfire, which makes it rare. I like it with the brick and not a fake looking stone ring and all of the brick meets the ground together, not like the stones that you have to bury some just so the others are not up off of the ground.
It is at only three prims in a good size when it arrives, unlike the tiny mesh campfires that have to be stretched just so they do not look like a pot of fire with skinny sticks that only get flat as the mesh is stretched. Also, with the stretching of mesh, comes more against land impact.
I was able to increase log size, making them stand a little taller, and the logs still look like logs. I also recolored the brick texture, fitting to my scenery, and I do have a fire script that I like a bit better than the one with this campfire, so I am using it. I like that you provided an example and I could use to build my own and then adjust it more to my liking.

Realistic Campfire
This is unusual in that its square shaped as most campfires (firepits) on SL are round. You get everything with this including the lovely stone texture (which I shall also use on other creations) and a fire script as well. Thank you
