Star Class Motor Addon

This package will add a motor to your Star Class.

Versions for Modern and Vintage Star Class included.

This is a low power electric motor that will push your boat to a gentle 1.6 kts (not suitable for long distances)

Package content :

- script "UVTech Addon Installer 1.0" : installation script (will self delete after installation is complete)
- object "TMS Star Class Vintage Motor Addon" : prims to be added to the boat during the installation (will be removed after installation is complete)

Edit your boat and drop the script "UVTech Addon Installer 1.0" into its content :

- script "UVTech Addon Installer 1.0"

Then add the object "TMS Star Class Vintage Motor Addon" and accept permission to change links when prompted

Open the notecard AVpos inside the boat content and add the 3 following lines after the line containing "SITTER 0|" :

BUTTON TrollFWD|1
BUTTON TrollBWD|-1
BUTTON TrollOFF|0

Save the notecard and wait for AVsitter to reload it (you'll see two lines in chat similar to these :

The motor can only be started when the boat is active (not moored). It can be turned on or off with with the 3 new buttons in the boat menu :

TrollFWD : Trolling forward
TrollBWD : Trolling backward
TrollOFF : Trolling off

Note that the motor will be turned off automatically when you raise main or jib.
