Thank you for your interest and purchase of the Starland Leguna Seca. Starland has had many quality products over the years, including spacecraft, our Starland Modular Space Station, and our very popular Starland Airline Pilot HUD.

The Leguna Seca is a 1970 classic that will take you back to the era of drive-ins, disco and surfing. A powerful coupe for Saturday night cruising, heading out to the roller rink or the boardwalk.

NEW SIGNIFICANT GENERATION 2 FEATURES
======================================

1. Major script engine update to REC Basic Vehicle Engine 10.6. Features brought specifically by this upgrade:
a. Heavily redesigned driving characteristics which will bring an even smoother ride than prior Starland vehicles.
b. Car does not start automatically on seating. Yes, you'll need to start the car just like the real world :).
Original function can be restored in the configuration script.
c. New Neutral/Park option that allows the car to become physical while unoccupied to allow it to be pushed and towed.
This replaces the Starland Tow Enable script which as been removed.
d. More "real world" style engine options. The somewhat cryptic "AWD", "Street" and "Road" options are gone.
Now the car has a transfer case with four wheel drive high (4HI), four wheel drive low (4LO) and two wheel
drive (2WD). Modes are directly selectable from the hud, dash, car menu and gestures.
f. Improved ability to use mouselook mode by limiting the surfaces that will activate the menu.
g. Reduced script load by combining more functions into the main scripts and reducing the need for
scripts in child prims.
2. The Starland Driver HUD has had a complete makeover for more efficient use of screen space and more information
provided to the driver.
3. The Starland Painter HUD has been updated to allow more paint options. On the Leguna Seca, you can now paint both the
body and trim. There are also multiple options for painting different parts of the interior.
4. More choices have been added for options like automatic turn signals, both activation and termination and distance units.
5. You now have a choice of Kilometers instead of miles for both speed and odometer reading. Default is miles. You will be
able to switch to Kilometers in the configuration script.
6. The configuration script has been better organized to be more readable and bring the most critical options to the top
of the list.

NO BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY
==========================
Due to significant redesigns, the Generation 2 (anything with version numbers 21.0 or higher) HUDS and gestures
are not backward compatible with generation 1 cars. Generation 1 HUDS and gestures are not compatible with
Generation 2. While some features may work by "accident", they should not be treated as interchangeable.

FEATURES

1. Selectable manual or automatic transmission. Default is manual.
2. Customizable number of forward gears with adjustable power settings.
3. Fully functional doors and windows.
4. Odometer retains mileage between drives
5. Realistic fuel consumption compatible with GFS fuel systems. Can be turned off.
6. Functioning speedometer. Displays either miles per hour or kilometers per hour
7. Uses advanced lighting features for all lights, rather than prim based fake light beams.
8. License plate with uniquely generated plate number. Can be changed to to a personalized number via menu.
9. Modifiable configuration script, allowing the owner to significantly change many default and performance features to meet your interests.

12. Proper transmission torque. Less need to upshift when climbing hills. The Leguna Seca performs like cars should perform. Lower gears are slower but produce more torque allowing the car to climb hills in lower gears. The car has a transfer case allowing shifting to 4LO for steeper hills.
