Inspired by a real world clock, the Story Clock displays the time as a steel ball levitating above a wood disc. Our version adds a trail of lights that serve as the minute or second hand, and a constant digital display in the center. See the notecard inside the clock for configuration options.
For a quick glance at the precise time, touch the clock and a hovertext display will appear for a few seconds. If you want to show this text all the time, edit the notecard (see below) and set show_text to TRUE.
For basic use, rez the clock somewhere and you're done. By default, the clock is set to display Second Life time in 12 hour format and works right out of the box. If you want to change the timezone, light colors, refresh speed, or 24-hour vs 12-hour time, edit the clock and double-click on the __config__ notecard which you'll find on the contents tab. Instructions for editing the card are contained within.
