General Setup:

Setting up a basic system is fast and easy! For a fully functioning alert system, you need only do the following:

Step One - Rez the Alert Control Server (one required for each separate system)

Step Two - Rez as many as you like of your choice of either the Alert Button w/Color Change or the Alert Button w/Texture Change (or, both). The included button objects also serve as display prims and they can be resized and linked to other objects, as needed.

That's it! That is all you need for a basic system.

But, you can create very sophisticated alert systems by modifying the ._alert_config notecard and substituting your own textures and sounds for the ones specified.
