Stream Hud *Add*

Works the same as SL's Video/TVs. Enable Media in Prefs. Listen to active streams using Media. Touch Show/Hide Button for out of view, Info Button for Info.

If you find a nice stream that you like, just paste it in and name it. BTW its not cool to copy streams in SL, always good to ask and get permission. Besides there are plenty of free streams on the net. Web searching is your friend.

It's handy for musician/performers/venue owners that want to check the stream before the show to make sure its working ;) If it’s working on the hud it’s more than likely working on the land, if it isn’t on the land then it is an SL issue. Check make sure everything is set up properly in world, check stream in about land, that it has the stream set and as always it could just be sl lag too. Retoggle retoggle retoggle.

How to add your own streams -> In Edit mode, Go to Content Tab, Open Notecard. Paste working streams, *same format* Up to 11 streams in notecard. Important: Leave NO spaces at end of any of the lines.

Come out of edit mode, Touch Menu on Hud, pick a stream then Hud Screen.

To use grid wide, Add Hud in a script enabled area and then your good to go

Streams must be active or live to work, keep only the active ones and you will be good to go.

The notecard is mod/copy the hud is nomod/copy/no transfer

PS I am not responsible for those who misuses this to listen to venue streams behind the scenes. Go to the shows, venues and performers need you there!

P.S. I have added my SLurl below for visiting purposes. I only have a small spot in SL so I do not have a lot of stuff out to see. I do have a few things but you can click it to visit anyway if you like. I honestly wish whoever is the master of MP site would change that wording to Visit My Inworld Spot or something like that ;) cos not everyone has a sim to display their builds, just saying :)
