The perfect lair for the mad scientist, steampunk inventor, or Goth with a taste for the techno. The Strickfaden Observatory is one of the most unique creations yet by Chrystin Hathor.
Adapted from a crumbling old medieval keep and updated with the latest in technology, the ground floor provides spacious room for living quarters, store, meeting room, or club. You can build walls to subdivide into separate rooms as you wish. Spiral stairs in one corner tower lead to the second floor observatory complex.
The centerpiece of the second floor is the magnificent Strickfaden 37.4 inch refracting telescope. Using quantum neutrino phased inversion coupled by an improbability matrix, it reveals in the universe in sharp clarity. Excess power is safely discharged by exciting Strickfaden Effect, named after it's developer, Kenneth Strickfaden. Peering into the eyepiece reveals the changing view into space. Surmounting all on the roof is the revolving dome, which revolves in synch with the telescope. Balconies from each side afford wonderful views when you need a break from searching the heavens.
Accessories are included that you can use to decorate the second floor scope chamber. Tabletop consoles, floor consoles, and to power it all, the Electro-Aether Power Generator. These are included in the kit to place if you wish, or to keep in your inventory if you need to save prims (NOTE: make sure you are in edit mode when pulling the generator out of inventory, as the generator is made up of 3 separate unlinked pieces because of the revolving script).
Uses the Rezz Foo system to make setup as easy as licking a box, making setup and placement easy. 203 prims, with a footprint of approximately 32mx32m. Modable and copyable, no Transfer.
