Sul/Potato Fields Non G&S Scripted

Potatoes are a perennial bush plant. While the life cycle is 2 years, for our usage they are annuals, planted in the spring and harvested in the autumn.

Potatoes are planted in rows with a growth space between each plant, and space between the rows to walk, water, and cultivate. As the plants grow, the ground around them is kept loose, soft, and clear of weeds. A certain amount of earth is then heaped onto the base of the plant, insuring that the bulbs stay covered.

Harvest amount per plant can vary. But, normally it takes about 2 to 3 plants to fill a large industrial potato sack only.

My core goal in infusing G&S Sul fields was realism. I wanted a bushy plant with an actual potato texture. I wanted the fields to look and be used like a potato field would be. I wanted the harvest yield to be similar to an actual field.

I not only achieved these goals. I made a single field, the same size as a G&S field, hosting 16 G&S Sul fields. I also took the land impact of those 16 G&S fields down from 64 LI to 17 LI. I gained not only in realism, my Sul field was a prim & space saver.

How I offer these Sul fields differs from my grain and rice.
• Single Sul plant on mesh ground. (2 LI)
• Single row of 4 Sul plants on 1 sculptured prim ground. (5 LI)
• Double row of a total of 8 Sul plants on 1 sculptured prim ground. (9 LI)
• 16 Sul plants on 1 sculptured prim ground, and in 4 rows. (17 LI)

Other than the single Sul plant, none of these are linked objects. Linking will cause the scripts to glitch.

As with all my items intent on being infused, I sell them: Modify, No Copy, and Transfer.

These Sul Fields can be seen in use in-world at my Tharna Woods Farm.

Q: Why aren’t these already infused if they were made to be infused?

A: I cannot control how Sombra does his updates. As of 02/08/2016 there are over 1,000 of my items having been infused. What “could happen” at an update “if I did the infusing” is I would get all the updates (as the original buyer), and not you the customer. Neither of us wants that to happen.
