The light is COPY. So you can rez Follow Lights to your hearts content. Make a copy so you dont lose it! To use it just REZ IT IN GAME (select the item in inventory and click and hold and drag it to the floor or a surface in an area that you can build items). DO NOT WEAR. The light will greet you and take your name. There are three simple commands that must be spoken in Local Chat:
STOP - this will make the Follow Light cease activity and mostly freeze in midair. All senses are off and the particle glow effect will stop. Do this if you start to experience lag or need to turn off sensors.The Follow Light will NOT automatically die when in STOP mode so you will be leaving behind prims - Do Not Litter in Second Life ;)
START - this restarts the Follow Light. It will move around you at a moderate distance, a bit above your head. The color of the light and the glow will change randomly. If you teleport away and leave the Follow Light on, then it will wait for approximately 2 minutes then it will send you a message that it was left behind and will die (delete itself from in game). It identifies the sim and the parcel - so you could hold a small funeral ceremony.
DIE - the Follow Light dies - the object is gone. Finito. De-rezzed. NOT IN WORLD!!
You will have to rez annother one from inventory. Oh but that is why its COPY enabled.
