Contents - one Hovering, Following, Chat-Controlled Following Fish with SOUND and special Particle Effects!
The Fish is COPY so you can rez a whole school of Fish. (Be sure to make a copy so you dont lose it!) To use it just REZ IT IN GAME (select the item in inventory and left-click and hold and drag it to the floor or a surface in an area where you have build rights). DO NOT WEAR - IF WORN THE ITEM WILL NOT OPERATE PROPERLY AND YOUR AVATAR MAY BE EFFECTED. The Fish will greet you with some instructions when it rezzes. There are eight simple commands that must be spoken in Local Chat:
STOP - this will make the Fish cease activity and mostly freeze in midair. All senses are off. Do this if you start to experience lag with a large group of lights rezzed or if you need to turn off sensors. The Fish will NOT automatically die when in STOP mode so you will be leaving behind prims - Do Not Litter in Second Life ;)
START - this awakens the Fish. It will swim around you at a moderate distance, a bit above your head. If you teleport away and leave the Fish on, then it will wait for approximately 2 minutes then it will send you a message that it was left behind and will die (delete itself from in game). It identifies the sim and the parcel - so you could hold a small funeral ceremony.
BUBBLES - this will toggle the bubbles that the fish creates when it is swimming around. Say "BUBBLES" in local chat to turn off and then say it again to turn it back on.
SOAK - this will make the Fish generate it's secondary particle effect (Water Spout). The effect lasts for only a few seconds. This particle effect also is triggered randomly when the Fish collides with you or any object in SecondLife.
HUNT xyz - when followed by the name of an avatar, this will make the Fish follow that avatar just as if it was following you! Just say 'HUNT cory' and the Fish will search for an avatar with a name beginning with "cory" and will then follow that avatar until another command is given. This is NOT a griefing tool and should be used with restraint! Remember this will only work when the avatar is within the range of the fish (about 90 meters radius).
RETURN - this will instruct the Fish to follow the Owner. This command is used to return the Fish to follow you rather than the person you HUNTed.
DIE - the Fish dies. The object is gone. Finito. De-rezzed. NOT IN WORLD!!
You will have to rez annother one from inventory. Oh but that is why its COPY enabled. if you want to TAKE the Fish back into your inventory (It is not necessary but you may have named him and grown atttached) make sure you give the STOP command first. This will make it non-physical and therefore safe to rez again.
NAME xyz - this will NAME the Fish. The name will appear above the Fish's head. There is a great reason to do this! You can name a Fish, say Puff, and then you can set him to hunt Cory but saying 'Puff cory'. The Fish's name works just like the HUNT command. The advantage of this is you can name one Puff and then STOP it and take it back to inventory. Rez another and NAME it Stanley and STOP it and take into inventory. Now later you can Rez both of them and make Puff follow one person and Stanley follow another by using their name! NOTE: Do not use names that are the same as commands, for instance NAME STOP would make the STOP command not work, since the name of the fish can be used to make it hunt.
