From what I understand back then it advertised itself as transferable and people were mad it wasn't. That seems to have been fixed. I bought it and it seems to work and transfer just fine.
The animations are a bit slow and if the sim you are on has no flying allowed, you can't really get out of the water to climb on a boat, you have to sit on an object or walk on land that has a slope or something to get out.
For L$10 though, it's a good deal. Have fun with your friends!
