Set megaswitches for the railway, low-lag and easier than conventional SLRR switches! Here you will find all you need to fix your junctions, for everyone, from newcomers to experts.
ALL OBJECTS AND SCRIPTS ARE ON A NOTECARD AND ARE FULL PERM!
All objects are made from conventional SL railway items and are full-prem. Scripts are also all full-perm.
SWITCHSTAND allows you to configure:
- I switch (a stop on a single line)
- Y2 switch (a junction of two lines)
- Y3 switch (triple junction)
- Y4 switch (quadruple junction)
- 2X2 switch (two lines in, two lines out)
- 2X3 switch (two lines in, three lines out)
- 3X3 switch (three lines in, three lines out)
- + switch (two lines intersect without changing line)
- Z switch (for climbing trains, switching into reverse).
<> Objects (they are made from conventional Heterocera railway switches):
- Switches [I, Y2, Y3, Y4, 2X2, 2X3, 3X3, +, Z]. Switches are the one who control the whole junction.
- Demo switches (to help you configure the real ones).
- Signals [I, Y2, Y3, Y4, 2X2 (four, one for each line), 2X3 (five, one for each line), 3X3 (six, one for each line), + (two, one for each line)]. Signals inform trains before they reach the switch and allow them to change the signal before reaching it.
- Sample barrier [for trains and for cars].
- Guides [X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6 (for X switches), Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4 (for I, Y, + and Z switches), plus a simple guide] They are railway guides already configured.
- Sensors [Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, placed inside guides, ready for use for I, Y, + and Z switches. There is no way to configure a sensor for X switches (see below)].
- HUD (for quick info).
<>Scripts (if you want to build your own switches, signals and barriers). Also, the scripts for guides are mandatory to use.
- Guide scripts [X, Y]. Put the Y script inside guides designed for I, Y, + and Z switches. The X script is designed for X switches but can also serve all other switches too.
- Barrier [train, car]. The barriers are set to block a road or a railway access.
- Messengers [guides, switch, informator]. They are useful for sim corner crossing (see below).
- Lights [conventional (for Y, X, + and Z switches), special (for I switches)]. They set the lights of switches and signals.
- Dictator [I, X, Y(also works for +), Z] the brain inside switches.
- Signal [X, Y(also used for I, + and Z)] controls signals.
- Sensors [only one], they tell a switch when a train is approaching, they work for I, Y, + and Z switches.
1 (mandatory). Build the railway tracks. Plan what kind of junction you need there:
- I (a stop on a line)
- Y2 (two lines merging into one, classic junction)
- Y3 (triple junction, 3 lines merge into 1)
- Y4 (quadruple junction, 4 lines merge into 1)
- 2X2 (X shaped junction, 2 lines enter, 3 lines exit)
- 2X3 (X shaped junction, 2 lines enter, 3 lines exit)
- 3X3 (X shaped junction, 3 lines enter, 3 lines exit)
- + (two lines meet without allowing trains to change line)
- Z (for mountain lines, allowing trains to go into reverse).
2 (might be mandatory). Fixing guides with demo switches.
- Put the demo switch that fits you in the middle of the junction.
-Rotate the switch until the attached white guides roughly match your lines.
- Look at the number of the guides. This shows you what kind of guide you need on each line.
- Put the needed guides (for example if that line needs 'Guide X2', put the 'Switchstand Guide X2' on that line).
3 (mandatory). Fixing the switches.
- Put the switch that fits you above the railway or on one side.
4 (optional). Sensors.
- Sensors will tell the switchstand that a train is coming, allowing for the switches to change.
5 (optional). Signals.
- Signals can be as far as 70 m from the junction.
- They allow train engineers to quickly change line before they arrive at the switch.
6 (optional). Barriers.
7 (optional, professional). Messengers.
- They allow communication between switches, sensors, signals and guides beyond sim borders and on long distances.
8 (optional, professional). Set main line.
- You can configure a switch to have a main line which it will open after 100 seconds of no activity.
9 (optional, professional). Changing communication channel.
10 (for builders). Making your own switch and signals.
- All scripts you need.
- All info you need.
LICENSE AGREEMENTS:
- Feel welcome to use my scripts for your creations.
- All objects are free to use for anything you want.
- Do not put the scripts in a prim and sell them further. Be a creator, not a thief.
- Feel welcome to give the scripts to a friend.
- Do not offer the scripts for free. The money that merchants earn help boost their creativity. By offering everything for free, you suffocate their initiative, doing more harm than good. so, please, think if you want to resell.
