The future isn't all grey-metal corridors and precariously dangling wires, class up your cyberpunk fantasy with a Tokugawa housing unit! This skybox features a high level of detail at a low land impact of only 60 prims, an exterior privacy box, animated exterior blinds, custom sound effects, real-time lights, full Copy/Modify permissions (not applicable to scripts) and a central interface to control lighting, security and more.

Fully scripted dialog interface available from the central control console (restricted to owner) with the following options:
Collision : This setting allows you to change the sound effect made when avatars and objects collide with the Skybox or move around inside of it, it is the dull "thunk" noise heard when bumping into things. This can be set to "Silent" if you would prefer no sound be made. Please note, choosing this option will silence the impact sound of any and all objects hitting the skybox.
Security : This setting changes how the front door functions. By default, it is locked to its owner and will display (GREEN) lights. In addition, if another user attemps to access the door it will say their name followed by a short message. Selecting the "All Access" button will allow anyone who touches the door to open it, and the lights will turn (RED) indicating that the apartment is not locked. The 'Alerts' button will toggle the sound and notification that is displayed in chat when an unauthorized user attempts to access the door when the door is locked. If the Alerts are turned off, the door will remain locked and attempts to access it by unauthorized users will silently fail.
Lighting : This setting opens a sub-group with 5 further options, these buttons toggle individual lighting zones (rooms) on and off in different areas of the apartment, indicated by their name. *NOTE for modders, please read section "2b" on modding for further details about the effects of this menu.
Blinds : This button opens and closes the exterior blinds when clicked.
Additionally the bathroom features an enterable shower with a working door. The default dimensions of the Skybox are:
Size : 18.4 x 5.9 x 19.3 (Root Prim)
Land Impact : 60
Front Door & Kitchen Height Clearance : 6ft, 8in. (Avatar Height)
Interior Doorway Height Clearance : 7ft, 8in. (Avatar Height)

Upon rezzing the Skybox it will register its new owner and be immediatly ready to use.
All elements within the skybox are consistently scaled, meaning that users who wish to make the apartment larger (to accomodate large avatars or interior decor) may do so simply by stretching the whole apartment through the *edit* menu. PLEASE NOTE: Land Impact will increase proportionately to the size of the apartment. Increasing the size by ~15% yields a land impact increase of roughly 10 prims, and the apartment should never reasonably need to exceed additional scaling of ~20% beyond its default size.

I really enjoy how cute and functional this skybox is. The mesh and textures are very clean and it's got that charming aesthetic that has that sci-fi edge but also leaves that feeling of high fantasy there as well. Would definitely recommend this to friends.

This is the first skybox I am 100% happy with and I am so glad I bought it!
It's a very unique and pretty design with great potential. Everything looks lovingly modeled and textured and is very hiqh quality.
I love the gothic / vintage spin on the sci-fi genre Tokugawa did here. I also had no problem changing the color of the wallpaper a bit with the edit tool.
I wish Tokugawa did more skyboxes or houses as this is really great and worth every Linden Dollar!

Li alone makes it worth it for my build where they are rented out all the time. Mod was great, ripped out the scripts and redid them all. Added an animation set to the bathroom and kitchen and voila, perfection.
It's a solid scifi build
This works as both a skybox AND "premium" housing stacked up in your favorite dystopian build. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars? While you can rip out the fixtures, the "shadows" they had cannot be removed. Don;t let this discourage you though, it's very clean and elegant.
Not bad but not good.
Good size but bathroom is unusable. since if you remove the fittings it leave shadow marks on the floor. and the furniture has no animations or anything. even the kitchen is non functional. Would be better if there was an unfurnished version.

I love Deus Ex with all my heart, and I was so, so delighted to see that you made this apartment. The attention to detail is stunning. The crown molding, wall detail, the texture on the silver-grey floors, his kitche, his bedroom, the ceiling lights- THE FUNCTIONAL SHUTTERS! Every time I open them, I can hear the somber music in my head, hear the synth voice greeting him.
Words can't do this justice. What an incredible tribute piece.
A couple things of note (that don't affect the rating because honestly, they're easy fixes):
1: There is no fridge. This is easily solved by putting one at the end of the kitchen.
2: No mirror in the bathroom, which honestly just lets you add your preferred.
The entire build is extremely easy to customize how you want, and the front door actually opens, making it easy to incorporate into skybox builds.
