This is a builder's kit for making ground cover with diffrent textures. There are different kinds of leaves, petals and sticks textures in the kit to suit different themes. You will also find sculpt maps to make three kinds of ground cover, where two are a rounded patch in two different sizes and the last one consists of two rounded patches in one prim.

HOW TO BUILD THE GROUND COVER:

In the box you will find instructions on how to build the foliage cover. I have made them as short, easy to read notecards.

The shape and the size is easy to figure out - you just stretch the sculpt to the proportions and size you need. As far as the texture settings are concerned, you just drop the textures script on 128x2 texture repeats into the samll sculpt and the 256x2 texture repeats into the two larger sculpts. REMEMBER TO SET STITCHING TYPE TO PLANE (right beneath the sculpt map window) or the texture will look odd. I have included 7 examples of the small patch with diffrent textures but only one of the two others. If you're too busy to build your own sculpts with the kit and just want to use the examples, you just rez the sculpt example and drag the texture onto it.

If you want to create your own textures for the foliage column, I find that an alpha texture with a relatively limited number of scattered leaves, petals, twigs (or whatever) in the middle of the picture works best.

PERMISSIONS:

This is a kit for builders and you are given permissions to use the sculpt map or the example of the ivy column ONLY to resell or share as one of you own building projects and not as is. If you choose to resell or share, please make sure the permissions are changed to no transfer - that will not prevent you from selling - nor will it put me out of business :-) Selling the ground cover as it is with permissions set to less than full is not allowed either - it has to be part of a larger project.
