T-Spot Two Pairs of Handknitted Socks - Builder's Kit

NB! Both examples of the socks in the box are in a dark grey knit texture (the one on the right).

DESCRIPTION:

Two pairs of sculpt... whoops ..I mean HANDKNITTED socks.

The socks are my first attempt to knit here in SL, and all first attempts at knitting socks usually result in a somewhat uneven pair. Never the less, you can really see that these socks are handmade, which is a charm in itself imho ;-)

The socks are not meant to be worn as clothes but to hang on a clothes line or being used as christmas socks on the mantlepiece of a fireplace. Most knit textures will fit the socks and will apply evenly as the sculpts have been made this way.

CONTENTS IN THE BOX:

- two examples of the socks with a knit texture on in a copy / modify version, as the knit textures are not my own work

- Two sculpt maps - each pair of socks is one prim

- Instructions on how to build and texturize the socks

The line and clothes pens on the picture are not included.

THE KNIT TEXTURES:

Knit textures are not included in this kit but there are many great knit textures at a reasonable price that will work well with the socks. They just need to be seamless.

The unpatterned socks on the two first pictures are from Texture me True (stained grungy knitted fabric texture pack) and can be found here: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/stained-grungy-knitted-fabric-texture-pack/1163607

The sock examples in the kit are textured with a dark grey grungy knit texture from this texture pack. It is also the same texture used on the picture with the red christmas stockings/socks, they have just been tinted red in the build menu.

The patterned socks on the third picture have been textured with two textures from Meli Imako (6 Seamless Woolen Knitted Fabric Textures - 34) which you will find here:

I am sure there are many more knit textures that will work well with the socks.

PERMISSIONS:

The kit is sold with full permissions.

You may use the sock kit and it's content as you like for private purposes. That includes changing the sculpt maps.

If you wish to resell or share the socks, you are only allowed to do so if the permissions are set to less than full.

The sculpt maps are not allowed to be sold as is but only when used for an item.

You are not allowed to change the sculpt maps and resell them as your own.
