This weapon is inspired by the Jaffa/Goa'ould "Staff Weapons" from the Stargate TV Series.
It fires damaging projectiles that leave a trail and explode into light, sound, and smoke.
Enter mouselook and click to fire it - but not before you click the Staff Weapon to arm it (click it again to disarm it), triggering separate animations depending on whether it's ready to fire or not. You'll notice its arm/disarm sounds and firing noise sound kind of familiar... like they were from some popular TV show or something.

Cool sounds, nice explosion effect and also free? Give me one! The only complaint I would have is the way it is held my your avatar... But hey, nothing beats the price of L$0!
It's a shame that the creator quit Second Life a year ago, so this demo version is the best you'll get.
