Our Fairy AO has become our most popular item, so we wanted to offer more to the fay community of SL. One of the favorite memories from "back in the day" at Seaside Community was the Fairy Garden area, and particularly the Fairy dances. We compelled Tess, Trace, and Bonnie to dig through their inventories to find out what we could offer that would recapture some of the magic of those days.

What we came up with is a set of Fairy dances that we are offering (here) with a nice Dance Chim. Once you have loaded the dances, just wear the Chim, and you and your fay friends can click on your head (it attaches to your nose) and dance in sync, twirling and gliding in the sky!

NOTE BEFORE YOU BUY:

You will be REQUIRED to rez the Chim in-world and drag the dances to the contents tab (Instructions below) in order to use this item. Once you rez it in world, the loaded version becomes No Copy, No Mod, No Trans (but the original will still be in your inventory).

===== MODIFICATIONS and SETUP =====

You can add your own animations to this system. You CAN add some full-permission animations while wearing the Chim, but sometimes you will be required to rez it on the ground to add and edit the system. Completely teaching the editing system of SL is beyond the scope of this notecard, but here is the basic process, and what you MUST do to add the included animations:

1. Rez the Chim on the Ground. Locate the original "Dance Chim (For Fairy Dances)," which is STILL in your inventory. Select the "Rename" option, and add "ORG" to the original. The one on the ground still has the old name.

2. Select the Chim which is now on the ground and pick "Edit."

3. Go to the CONTENTS tab.

4. Drag your animations to the CONTENTS tab. Repeat dragging until all the animations are moved/copied to the CONTENTS tab.

5 If you want to rename the loaded Chim, you can go to the GENERAL tab of the Edit interface and do so. You will not be able to edit the name once you take it back to inventory..

6. Pick up the Chim from off the ground by selecting it and picking "Take" option.

7. It will return to your inventory, and you can now attach it and test. It should attach to your nose, and that has proven a good place for it in our experiences.
