A casual skirt that can work in a variety of settings is a fashion must! Allie has crafted a mesh skirt that gets the job done!
!!!! Considerations BEFORE you buy. !!!!
-- This skirt comes in 4 sizes: XS, S, M, and L. As with all mesh items in SL, getting it to fit often requires tweaking your avatar shape.
-- The kit from which this skirt was built lacked a transition at the top of the skirt. We added a belt-like "Bodice Band" that satisfactorily works to complete the outfit. It will have to be modified for size. This will require using the "edit linked" to resize and shape the band separate from the buckle.
-- The Alpha we created does not seem to let any skin show. However, if you are looking up the skirt--FIRST OFF, SHAME ON YOU! YOU OUGHTN'T BE LOOKING UP ANYONE'S SKIRT! But, IF you do, and occasionally, when avatar makes extreme poses, small patches of skin that should be seen are alpha-ed out.
-- The Necklace and the Bodice Band have to be ADDED, not worn, in order to have both visible. (Actually, adding--instead of wearing--alphas, tatoos, and prims tends to be the best practice anyway.)
Considerations aside, you will be getting a collection that looks good at a very reasonable price--much less than was paid for the kits and parts to make it!
