Thank you for your interest and/or purchase of my mesh objects. I hope they will help you in your builds.

Mind this set includes 8 mesh objects with adapted LOD's and 1 UV mapped texture. The textures of the buttons are not included.

Emerald one of my favourite stones, often know in the typical emerald cut but often also worked in jewelery as a cabochon. Unlike diamonds, where the loupe is standard, emeralds are graded by eye. The fissures and inclusions in the emerald are very much wanted and can increase the price considerably. In Dutch we call it the "garden" of an emerald. As cabochon you get a very nice type of cut which allows you to see this very well.

This is a mesh item you're customer will see your jewelery very fast, very accurate without "bulps" that need to rez.

Nano: You will find 2 gemstones each with 4 nano - LOD levels each has it's own use and is optimized to be visible from a great distance if needed.
You can scale it to any size you reasonable need for a jewel (and bigger) - starting from a hardly visible sized gemstone till whatever size. If used the standards pretty sure that more then a meter still will be below 0.5.

Link the mesh items and set the physics shape type under "features" to convex hull in the edit menu to none. 2 gemstones will have a landimpact of 1.

The bigger the triangles underneath the stone the stronger the LOD will be. Just mind that it doesn't surpass the body of an avatar.

Mind to make these nano's in mesh I need to ad a few tris which are made transparent. Matter of making "the bounding box" for sculpts bigger. Huge advantage... there is no bounding box. Mesh will never appear as a "bubble" on the neck of your customers when they first rez it. Make the red coloured face transparent by using the sliders under: edit -> textures -> transparancy = 100%

You can make the highest LOD (M0137, M0133) till a size where the stone itself has a size of about a pxs on your screen. Yes this is extreme and will not be needed. Though this stone has a super stable LOD and can of course be increased to any size needed.

MESH: build low prim with high detail, just rez as any other object you would rez. Adjust the size as you need as you do with prims. (mind that by increasing you might increase you're Land Impact (prim count)

Please do NOT take pictures of the textures and use them this way. I try to keep my work crisp since it simply looks better. This is not done for the convience of taking pictures, screenshots or any other comparable system and the image is covered unter the protection of International Copyright Law.

The default image shown in the vendor is at full resolution. Please look carefully before you purchase. Since they are full perm they will not be taken back or changed to other textures... Textures packages will mostly be made in 1024*1024, 512*512 or 256*256 Pxs. If specific textures request other sizes due to their nature the ideal proportions will be given in “description”. The eventual use of alpha channels will be mentioned in the name of the texture.
