~ T&C Security Camera 2.0 ~ Surveillance Camera System

Control Desk & Control HUD Versions Monitor activities at your store or office from a remote location on your sim/parcel.

* Rez as many Cameras as you need from your inventory and move them to their positions.
Camera view is set from the position of the camera lens.
( You will see anything in front of the cameras ).

* Right click and edit the camera's "Description" to change the camera name for easy identification. Example: Inside Store , Office, Demo Area etc

* Touch it to select a Channel - "CHANNEL 1" "CHANNEL 2" "CHANNEL 3"
( Desk & HUD will only work with any Cameras on the same Channel ).

How to set up the Surveillance Desk:

* Rez a Surveillance Desk where you like to use it.
* Sit down and configure channel and scan for cameras from menu.
(All Cameras in the current Region will be listed and be available to view).

* To change the Access who can use the table select OPTIONS and then ACCESS.
Options are: "OWNER" "GROUP" "ALL"
(if group is selected anyone in the same group as the desk is set to, can now use it).

ATTENTION - The Desk & HUD operates on separate channels with it's corresponding cameras so make sure to use:
- T&C Security Camera 2.0 (Desk Version) with the Desk.
- T&C Security Camera 2.0 (HUD Version) with the HUD.

I've been using this off and on since 2020 when I got it. I've been re-setting it up for a new place and the system still works perfectly without issues. It doesn't have any information on it's max cam distance however, but it's at least 99 meters from the desk to a given Camera.

For those having issues, make certain you rename the DESCRIPTION on the Camera (don't edit the name) and then click the Camera after to set channel 1, 2 or 3.

Once done, go to the Desk, sit and select Options > Pick the channel, then Scan. All your Camera's will appear. I've had up to 12 out at any given time.

Also always make sure to set Access level and make certain your Camera, when you sit, is at the default position (hit Esc). That should solve any of your issues.

My product does not work. I am pretty expierenced in SL and I did it three seperate times out of 3 new boxes. It does not work, Contacted the creator for help, crickets.

Doesn't stop at just four cameras, I have two pages of them set up in the menu, every portion of my parcel aside from the locker room is visible from the desk.

The only thing that it can't do is a SL limitation. Sadly you can't draw at the distance between my control room and the ground, so I need to have two desks rezzed, one for the upper half of the region and the other for the lower. I'm sure some people would see this and think it was a problem with the camera, but it's SL itself that doesn't allow a 3km+ repositioning of your view, not an issue with this but a limitation of the system itself.

I do need to check and see if I can rip the scripts out and put them in a different camera, these are pretty ugly, and only attach from one angle so you can't connect them to the wall properly if you need them on the opposite side of facing away from the anchor point. I ended up turning the face that is the bracket transparent and leaving them hovering next to the wall in quite a few spots, but they do have a separate face for the connector so you can hide it, if they were a single face it wouldn't be possible to do that.
