Installation
=======
First of all, this station is big measuring at 128X128X96 meters. You are going to need at minimum a quarter sim to rez. The rez center will be in the cargo deck which is 32 meters above the bottom of the station. This means that you should rez the station at least 40m above the ground. I Recommend to rez this station high at around 1000m altitude.

Second, the station has a fair number of prims considering it's size and contents. The station is 442 prims in the current version of this notecard.

To install your station first drag drop the "Space Station DD214 Rez-Foo Package (finalized)" in the sim you wish to rez in. Next I recommend to sit on this container and then right click and go to edit. Now you will be able to set the XYZ coordinates of the rez container while you are traveling with it by sitting on it. I recommend moving the rez container as far away from the sim edges at possible with optimum X,Y position at 128.0,128.0 (center sim). Do not rotate the container in that it will make the docking arms extend incorrectly (rotation should be at 0.0,0.0,0.0). Once you are at the place you want to rez the station, left click the box for the rez-foo menu. Choose the rez button and wait for the box to finish rezzing and moving the linksets (message will say done when finished).
Now that the station is rezzed, take a good look around and make sure it is in the position you like. If you need to make fine movement adjustments you can move the rez-foo container and the station will follow. Do not rotate the container. If you need to move longer distances, click the container and choose Derez, move container, and then click and choose rez again.
Once you are happy with the position of the station, and sure you will not need to move or remove for a while, left click the container and choose Save. Save will remove all the rez-foo scripts from the station.
Now that your station is Saved in to place, you will need to configure the two elevators. Find each elevator in it's corresponding elevator shaft, and left click them or bump into them for their menu. As owner of the station you will have the option of the admin menu by pressing the admin button in the elevator's menu. Once admin is pressed you will get the admin menu and to set your elevator floor locations choose the Find button. Find will locate all floors for that elevator system. If you ever add, move, or remove a floor you will need to use the find option again so that the elevator stays programmed correctly.
The station is now installed correctly, but there is an option to add more floors to the inner (center) elevator system, such as a ground platform.
In the package that your station came with you will see an object named "Elevator Ground Landing Pad". This can be rezzed and place below the station to allow the elevator to be used to get to another location. This landing pad should be set in line directly below the center of the station with no objects in its path. Record the X and Y positions of your station and then travel to a destination below the station and set the Elevator Ground Landing Pad with the same X,Y position.
The Elevator Ground Landing Pad is modifiable just keep in mind that the elevator gets the name and position of the floor from the top display screen prim. If you want to change the name of the floor, simply rename the display screen prim, but be carfull of moving or rotating this prim.
Once you are happy with where your Elevator Ground Landing Pad is positioned, travel back to the station and to the center inner tube elevator. Click or collide with the elevator, go to the admin menu, and choose Find. This will locate all floors in the same sim as the elevator and now your new Elevator Ground Landing Pad location should be programmed.

Station Features and Controls
==================
The DD214 has many features that come with it. First, the station can rez three different types of spaceships ready to fly and fight by anyone who chooses to.
The first landing pads are the two yellow stripped warning squares located on the main flight deck. When clicked each of these will rez a Demo Space Troop Transport (STT) for anyone to fly.
The second location is located in the hanger deck (second from top of station). Inside the hanger deck are four yellow stripped warning squares and each will rez a Star Fighter 16 Demo for anyone to fly and fight. Make sure you open the Hanger bay doors before trying to leave. The Hanger bay doors can be opened from simply clicking on the door, the three hanger bay door controls located around the inside of the hanger, or from the bridge commanders seat.
The third location and types of ships that are rezzable are from the Cargo Bay Docking arms.
