Please Note: Although these light strings are only 1 prim, they are not plain SL prims textured with animated images - they are 100% mesh.

This light set comprises four strings of lights approximately 2M, 4M, 6M and 8M long. The 4M, 6M and 8M strings are simply multiple copies of the 2M string pre-linked and ready for use. The 2M and 4M strings are both 1 prim and the other two strings 2 prims.

Note: The prim count can increase at larger sizes, but you should be able to stretch each string out to over 50M in length before it becomes 2 prims.

All are modifiable so you can make them bigger to fit the space you want to put them. Only the 2M string can be made smaller - the linked ones can only be made bigger without unlinking them, though once the 2M one is the size you want it, you can link as many as you want together...

Each light string has an owner's menu where you can choose from 13 coloured bulb sets carefully selected to provide a wide and colourful variety, as well as enhance the animations. There's even a red/white/blue set so you can put them up for Fourth Of July celebrations and shades of green for St Patrick's Day... as well as at Christmas!

The 9 bulb animations include Flashing, Fading, Scrolling Left and Right, Bounce, Drop, Comet and Colour Cycling. There's a Random mode too which will cycle through the animations and colour bulb sets after a user-defined period of time. You can of course have them permanently on too if you wish...

You can also link multiple light strings together and just one user menu will control them all. (Full instructions on how are in the manual). What's more, they stay low prim when linked - for example, linking two of the 2M bulb strings together is still just 1 prim!

When linked, the smart script controls the colour of all the bulbs and animations, so transition animations run smoothly across all the linked strings of lights.

The lighting demo area is through the tunnel, (down the path between the Furniture and Decorations stores). And don't forget to set the Sun setting of your viewer to midnight! :)
