The Muscle Project was dreamt up by Tesla to provide low-cost affordable but high quality muscle mesh to those on a tight budget. Noticing that most of the muscle systems on the Marketplace were expensive, Tesla sought to create a fitted-mesh muscle torso, that has a built in COLOR-CHANGE HUD system that allows the wearer to easily match his existing skin color. Because the mesh torso is fitted-mesh, the wearer can use his body appearance slider to DECIDE HOW HIS MUSCLES LOOK. You can look good for cheaper with THE TESLA MUSCLE PROJECT!

The shape of this rig is really superb, and it's one of the best implementations of fitted mesh I've seen: things scale up smoothly, without a lot of distortion even on the body fat and belly size sliders. It looks better than some muscle rigs that cost ten times the price.
This is an updated review: I wasn't impressed by the original color-change HUD, but that was the only down side to an excellent product. Tesla read my review and has addressed all of my concerns with the 2.0 HUD -- so not only is this one of the best muscle rig you can find, the customer support is superb!
A steal at this price tag and great customer support!
I usually skip mesh body parts, since they cause too much of a hassle with the default avatar, but I needed a real badass guy outfit for roleplaying and cranking up the muscle shape slider tends to make you look like a retard, so I thought at this price, I couldn't do anything wrong, and I was pleasantly suprised!
It's fitted mesh, so it allows to adjust to variety of shapes between "lean and athletic" and "bodybuilder". The color HUD comes loaded with a set of common skin tones, but allows to adjust to really any tone. I disabled the shiny effect tho, since it looked a little too Baywatch for my personal tastes. I had problems with blending it with the rest of my body, so I contacted the creator and she sent me another alpha option, quickly, so customer support deserves 5 stars, really!
Keep in mind you will probably need to wear this with mesh pants, but I was prepared for that, being aware that mesh body parts can never fit the default avatar perfectly within SL's technical boundaries (tho she did her best to try, so I won't blame her for that!).
The only thing I really would love to see added, would be different options for body hair, but bear in mind this is still a budget product....
Overally, this deserves 5 stars, especially considering the more than modest price tag :)
