The Book of Shadows

Rez the book and click the cover to open it. Clicking right or left will move the pages that direction: one back or one forward. Clicking the cover again will close the book.
The book is copy only, but can be modified by menu.

Owner controls

- Rezz the book
- Rightclick and choose "Edit" from the menu
- Go to the tab "contents" and find the notecard "config".
- Double click the notecard to open it. In the middle you'll find the options "who can use this book"
- Determines who can click the hippoBOOK and have its pages turn. You can include the words ”Owner” (although this is always assumed), “Group” (anybody wearing the same group tag as the book), “Anybody” or a list of named avatars. You can also mix these; e.g. BOOK CAN BE USED BY: Owner, Group, Pathfinder Linden, Fred Flintstone. Obviously if you use BOOK CAN BE USED BY: Anybody, there’d be no point adding any specific names as well. Note that names must be typed exactly as they appear in Second Life — “Humphrey Appleby” is not the same as “humphrey appleby”.
MENU WILL APPEAR FOR: <list of people, separated by commas>
e.g. MENU WILL APPEAR FOR: Owner
- Same as above, but determines who the menu will appear for when the book is pointed at and the mouse button held.
Rezz the book, and click it to open it. Clicking on the right page will give you the next page, clicking left will return you to the previous page. Clicking on the book's cover will close it.
You cannot add pages by yourself, however, you can ask me do to that. I can customize your Book of Shadows with your own spells against a small fee (60L for adding 1 page).

Missed by that much...
As someone stated earlier this is a NO MOD object, it's great & it would get 5 Stars if it were Mod. I was very disappointed by the fact it was not and basically it will sit in my inventory gathering dust. Creators need to be more conscious of their advertising, this is not the first time this has occurred. Too bad because this is really well done.
Description is a bit off
The book isn't bad in itself, but the permissions listed on the right need to be changed since they say it's copy/mod which it isn't. The book is only copy, not mod. After I bought it I noticed it does say it's not mod, but it's kind of buried in the description of the item and I was going by the main listed perms. As such, it's a bit of a waste of money for me since it's not going to be useful for my purpose.
Very pleased
I have been looking for a BOS for my av and this is super nice. The book is not only functional,but very attractive and the resizer and slim size allows me to put it in my avatars hand.
