The windmill consists of two parts - motor+blades and the stand.
They are not linked together and must not be to operate correctly.
Use the Rez boxes to position them. Pick Rez, position it, then use the FINISH button. You can then use the rez box again over and over.
It comes in two sizes - 7 meters with 4 land impact and 12 meters with 10 land impact. Once rezzed you can FINISH then resize the parts as desired.

The pack comes with simple versions of the two parts that you can assemble yourself if you want to:
The stand has a hole in the top. The motor has a pin at the bottom. Use the Edit command to place the pin in the hole and push the motor down on the stand to any position you like.

Touch the tail fin to start aiming into the wind or stop aiming into the wind.
Touch the blades to start spinning at full wind speed. Touch it again to lower the speed until it stops. Speeds are full wind speed, 1/2 wind speed, 1/3 wind speed, 1/4 wind speed and off.
It makes an authentic metal windmill sound that diminishes as you slow down the blades.
It is modify and has different surfaces that you can paint how you wish.
It is copy so you can rez more than one and have the originals.
There is a standard size and a larger size to get you started.
You can use a different stand or pole.

Awesome Windmill
I can't say enough nice things about this awesome windmill.The SL wind tracking and the variable speed were both important factors for me. The cool textures are a bonus. I did end up increasing the size a bit, but I imagine for most applications, the provided size will be plenty big enough. Pair this with a TM Old Water Tower and you will have a great matching set of features for your farm/land.
