This is a traditional To'ere drum used in both Tahiti, Hawaii, and the Samoan Islands.

Included in your purchase is the To'ere drum pictured here. It comes with one drumming animation and one drumming sound for both Tall and Small avatars.
The drums are copy/mod and 2LI. The scripts are copy only.

> TO USE THE DRUM:
Rez the To'ere and then sit on it. It will begin to play immediately. The drumstick will be sitting on the top of the drum.
Choose OK when you see the prompt for the drum stick to "Attach to your Avatar." (The prompt will be in the upper right corner of your screen.)

> TO USE THE MENU:
Just click on the drum for a Menu and choose "Tall Avi" or "Small AVI" depending on your size.
If you choose "Tall Avi", you will be given options for "Drum Tall" or "Silent Tall". (Silent means that the sound will be turned off.)
If you choose "Small AVI", you will then be given options for "Drum Small" or for "Silent Small". (Silent means that the sound will be turned off.)
Each time you choose a "Drum", you will be given a prompt to :
Attach to your Avatar > Yes> No > Block
Choose YES to get the drum stick.
(If a drum stick is not given automatically, you can ADD the one included in the folder with the drum.)

Please note the following points:
*** For automatic attachments to work, Users will need to enable the experience 'AVsitter' (created by Code Violet) on their land.
*** Firestorm hides the "Attach to your Avatar" prompt behind the Menu, so move the menu to see it. And then choose, "YES".
*** SL Viewer does not hide the "Attach to your Avatar" prompt, so just choose "YES".

The To'ere, Tokere, Pate or even Ove is a Polynesian percussion instrument used in traditional orchestras to accompany different Polynesian dances and music.

Originally from the Cook Islands, it would be relatively recent importation in French Polynesia. Introduced no doubt by the many Cook islanders who came to work in Tahitian plantations or the phosphate mines of Makatea Island in the 19th and 20th centuries.

In Samoa, missionaries from the London Missionary Society brought him there.
