Simply wear the object (it attaches to pelvis but It's invisible until triggered).
Press page down key to trigger. Your avatar will squat down (or whatever your normal page down animation is on your AO) and the trumpet will appear from your rear end and play one of 8 randomly selected trumpet sound clips. Let got of page down key and the clip wlil stop and trumpet will vanish.
