Koi-Mer are wise and long living aquatic creatures, dwelling only in fresh water, they are often found in rivers, lakes, springs and large ponds. Koi-Mer are symbols of good fortune be it wealth or luck and are seen as highly prized creatures! Because of this Koi-Mer make themselves scarce and hard to find, often hiding among the lily pads and reeds, or in deeper murky depths. Do not be fooled by this "coy" mer, tho they play hide and seek, Koi-Mer are very energetic, able to make high jumps, and even swim through strong water currents, and are also thought to have the ability to swim up waterfalls. These slippery mer are masters of escape and elusive deception, with their bright colors and exotic beauty they will allure and distract you as they make plans of escape. Koi-Mer make their homes in fresh water caves and underground rivers, building into the rocks, and earth. Entrances to such places can be found hidden in deep areas along rivers, lakes, ponds, and springs. Like most mer, Koi-Mer speak the language native to the area they dewl, and possibly communicate with their local wildlife as well.
Koi-Mer live on a mostly plant based diet tho have been known to eat other forms of food as well.
Koi-Mer are known to be very beautiful dancers putting on great displays of leaps and spins, they are not known to be singers like their other mer counterparts tho some Koi-Mer have been found to in fact be wonderful singers and rarer still are the ones who carry a sirens gift of song tho don't put it past them.

After trying out a couple of demos, other tails and grabbing the sardine tail I knew I needed a tail from this store. They aren't as frilly as other tails I've tried on, but the texutre and shape is spot on and I LOVE the high waist. I hate my butt crack hanging out of the back of some of the tails. Not to mention I get to keep my albino themed character with this lovely white tail. Textures aren't washed out at all and are gorgeous. The best!
Love this tail!
Took me a little tweaking to get the perfect fit on my Mesh Project shape but only about 15 minutes for perfect seamless fit. Gorgeous with my Curio Moondrop skin. Great job! Look forward to what's next from this creator. Now if I could just find the perfect swirly mermaid hair ......
Works perfect for TMP mesh body
Best creator ever for anything merfolk especially merfolk tails hands down! Works perfect for my tmp mesh body and let me tell ya, finding a tail to fit this body is one hell of a task all on its own but Siren does it flawlessly!!!
Compatible with mesh bodies
I wear this tail with a Belleza Venus mesh body and it works flawlessly. The tail's shape is well-sculpted and the texture work is excellent. My favorite tail so far in SL, looking forward to more colors and variations.
A beautiful start!
I love how well the tail's shape mixes curvy woman with elegant fish. Also, though it has no effect on the quality of the product itself, I have to add that the RP description for the type of mermaid it represents is wonderfully written and fuels character concepts. This mesh is a slight improvement over the original koi (which I also own) because this sort of scaly 'alpha fade' (or whatever it's called) where torso-meets-tail blends into my body much better. I wish I could combine the two! XD Overall I'm super happy. It would be great to see this shiny new koi tail come in more colors/patterns in the future. <3
