**** IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS *** Try Reset Scripts (Edit > Content > Reset Scripts) ***

This attachment device takes what you *type* into Nearby Chat (local chat) and then outputs it as *audio* using advanced neural network text to audio speech technology.

The processing is done on a remote server run by the voicerss.org people. You need to get an account on voicerss.org (free) and a free account can generate up to 350 messages a day. When you make your account at voicerss.org you will get an api key which then needs to be put into a notecard in this device.

This system does NOT offer the advanced audio processing possibilities of the TTS2 system - but does offers the 350 free messages a day of the free voicerss.org login.

Audio output is sent to autoplay on media-on-a-prim so listeners should start media (many people use autoplay). Listeners must also enable play for media attachments on avatars. Many people have these choices already made in their viewers to view media-on-a-prim TVs and so on.

For those who used the fabulous BonnieBots text to speech system - this is a replacement which does not use sound uploads.

The system offers 49 different voices with many non-english-speaker choices (list below).

The system can be used as a simple attachment in which case it works out of the box, or the script+programming notecard can be moved to another object (advanced use).

The system is designed to work when dropped into all JohnsonBot AI bots (animesh bots with AI, wearables). The Uma-E over at the West Mill store is using it, as is the Ivy Wearable. It is also compatible with our AI Controllers (instructions included). The system will work similarly with the output of the Nanite Vox system or other "attachment talk" gadgets. Please ask if you have any issues interfacing it to your device!

Please let me know if you run into any problems. It's a new product so there are bound to be some problems or things unclear in the instructions!

Enjoy hearing yourself speak what you write!
