The quest HUD is on the MP for L$500, L$4000 less than buying all the prizes individually.
HOWEVER, one must complete each quest task IN ORDER, and cannot skip around or skip a task. Therefore, one trades their time on each sim, questing for the products, for that HUGE discount in the overall L$ cost of the products.

100% of quest HUD purchases go to PEF.

In general terms, in the SL RP world, being an NPC means visible to but not necessarily interactive with IC. Anyone RPing around your avatar might mention seeing "someone" with a physical likeness to your avatar, just to see if you have an IC clue or hint to offer. If you do not respond to the mention post, it is assumed you are just background filler and the other player will make something up IC to shift their IC attention. :)
