TX ON SALE System

Intro:

~ Having almost 500 items for sale in world at any given time, having Sales was a difficutl and time consuming task. I either had to stay online during the sale, or mark everything down by hand or refund people the next day.

It was a nightmare. So I decided to do something about and and hence the TX ON SALE System was born.

How it works is like this.

Note: this will not work in items put in a box and set for sale. It must be in an item that you "Pay" to purchase. Onward!

Make yourself a little hud button, alternatively, you can rez and item out and place one of the two included HUD scripts in it. One uses a menu with predefined choices, (my pick) and the other is a simple textbox that you imput the discount into, ie 5, 10, 15 etc. for the percentage off the product. 0 would make it normal price again, ie, 0 discount.

PLEASE, PLEASE set channels in the ON SALE and HUD scripts to a channel number of your choosing. Make it a negative channel, at least 5 digits for security sake. Absolutely important to do this. I commented in the scripts where to do this.

Once thats done, say you have a vendor system already? No problem, "TX ON SALE Drop In Script" in your vendor, and it works as it did before, but it refunds the customer the percent that you designate with your HUD. Even works on Casper and Holovendors.

You have no vendors, only boxes set for sale? Again, no problem for us. "TX ON SALE Drop In Script" IS a vendor, simply edit the price of your item in the script itself, its all well commented, and drop in the script along with your item. The nice thing is, it will also track purchase history for you which you can retrive simply by clicking the box.

Want to give Group Discounts on specific items? Again, no problem, drop in the included "TX Group Discount" script in a box alongside your item, and the "TX ON SALE Drop In Script". Set the price of your item and the percentage off for your group in the "TX Group Discount" script and set the item itself to the Group you wish to give the discount to. It will not only give the group discount, but also the ON SALE price.

Also included is an Enhanced Hovertext script, it flashes back and forth in two colors the name and description of an item. You can change the colors and time of the flash in the script itself. Its a geat eye catcher.
