The Tactical recon series were constructed on a smaller
frame with reduced engine capacity.
Their lighter frame meant these could match the speeds
of the larger Scout and Patrol series vehicles.
But their intended role and restricted motive power
prevented the design from including the later developed
cloaking technology.
