These simple single-prim huds let you walk and run around without holding up arrow (w key). Useful for going for long walks, or long rides on attached vehicles or riding pets::
- click hud to turn on or off (green is on, red is off)
- Press up arrow (w key) to go forward and faster
- Press down arrow (s key) to slow down, stop, or reverse
Includes 3 speeds:
- default (same as most avatars)
- teeglepet (same as teeglepet horses, so you can keep up with them)
- teeglepet pony (same as teeglepet ponys)
Script is based on the autowalk script present in teeglepet horses. Use this when you not using a teeglepet, but still don't want to put your finger to sleep
Turn off Firestorm movelock if it just makes your avatar spin around
Saving my RSI
my hands and arms thank you! my doctor doesn't, but * them ;) I am very grateful!
A dream come true!
How long do I long for this to have…
Probably as long as I am in Second Life.
Now I have it, I am extremely happy.
Tried it in an empty region.
The turning is wonderful as well. Never saw my avi walk so fluently.
Thank you for giving that to us.
I wish I'd had this for Relay!
Mt index finger will never be the same again after a gruelling RFL and oh how I wish I'd had this yesterday. It will get plenty of use before then, though, and it's great to be able to walk without holding down the arrow button. One point to note: if you have Movelock enabled it will interfere with the operation, so you need to disable it first.
Handy for RFL!
A nice simple wearable hud that lets you walk and run without having to hold down keys. And all for free! Thank you so much for making this!
excellent
My dream hud. thinking about to change the code to free the camera while walking
Why doesn't SL do this on its own?
It was an oversight by the Lab to not allow you to turn on a constant walk and force you to hold down a cursor key as long as you want to keep going. This fixes it. Brilliant!
