The Teacher's Aide is a specialized tool for repeat delivery of classes. This classroom edition is a prim-saving lectern designed to be used by several teachers.
To put it in service:
1) Rezz it in the classroom.
2) Right-click and "edit" it. Change the name from "Teacher's Aide" to something appropriate for a teacher in your school.
3) Go to the contents tab. Edit the "** Ops" notecard to list the names of teachers authorized to use it. You may delete my name!
4) Stock the lectern with up to 12 prepared classes.
When it's time to use it:
Click the device and follow the menus. The TA will then use dialog menus to lead the teacher through the card you provided, line by line.
Upon reaching each line, the operator may select:
"Yes" for the TA to read that line aloud for the class to hear
"No" for the TA to ignore that line and skip to the next
"Whisper" for the TA to whisper the line to the teacher, to copy, paste, edit and send.
Anything the teacher says with with a /6 in front, the TA will repeat in chat. Therefore students will not be able to know which lines were pre-written, which were customized for the class, and which were said "from scratch." Just be sure teachers remember to use /6 consistently during class!
