Teleport anywhere in the same SIM from the ground to 4096 meters high in an instant!
The Teleport Spheres are NOT destinations where the other TP Spheres will teleport to.
You can instead compare them to an instant TP taxi, they will take you to where you want to go, and then go back to their initial spot, even if there isn't another sphere at your desired destination, or in the whole SIM at all.
Actually you can have just one single sphere teleporting to dozens of different destinations and nothing else. Although you might need more spheres to teleport back, but in case you don't, you can have just one.
If a sphere only goes to one single destination, left clicking on it will instantly teleport you there, if there is more than one destination, you will have a blue dialog window asking where you want to go, just pick a destination and the next second you're there. They can go up to 4096 meters.
You can also choose who can use your sphere by touching it and choosing "Access", then the choices are "Everyone", "Group", "Owner" and "Notecard".
Notecard means it will use the list of names in the notecard inside the sphere, in which you can put any name you want, just make sure it's the full name, including the "Resident" last name for avatars created after the display name feature has been implemented.
Once a sphere is active, it will not be listening to any chat channels, so even if you have a lot of them, the ressources they will use will be minimal.
To add or remove target locations, just right click on it and "Touch".
Adding locs is done with a HUD that can remember 10 different locs (and can be copied and renamed to have more) and is very easy to use :
- Clicking on "Add" will copy the position coordinates you are standing at (the loc). You can then click on a slot to paste the loc on it.
- Clicking on "Rename" will allow you to rename the slot of your choice by clicking on that slot and typing the new name in the TextBox.
- Clicking on "Remove" will allow you to empty the slot of your choice by clicking on that slot.
- Clicking on a slot while none of the 3 commands above are active will have any listening Teleport Spheres add the loc from that slot to their list of destinations.
