*Temptii* Wall Lantern [Chocolate]

I would have liked to have given this Lantern 4.5 stars, but 4 stars seamed too low...

The lantern is very well made and the texture on it is excellent. The candle flame is a separate piece than the lantern. The lantern is otherwise one solid piece, including the arm it is hanging from. I would have preferred to be able to detach that to use one of my own.

The flame is a very nice animated texture on a prim inside the lantern. It looks nice, however it has the problem that the flame texture has alphas and it is sitting inside the lantern, which has alphas on the glass. Since alpha overlap causes issues, you often can't see the flame inside the lantern.

The lantern also does not give off light, however this a very easy fix as you can just edit the flame prim to emit light.

I recommend replacing the candle flame prim with either a flame particle emitter or, (preferably) a sculpted flame shape prim.

Overall I am very satisfied, but it took some after-market modifications to make this lantern perfect for my needs. I consider the low cost of this item to offset the extra work needed.
